Job summary

GF Industry and Infrastructure Flow Solutions, a division of GF, is seeking a Production Operator in Wisconsin to set up and run extrusion machines according to specifications and safety standards.

You will monitor operations, adjust settings, perform basic repairs, log data, and collaborate with maintenance and quality teams. A focus on accuracy, safety, and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating extrusion machinery or similar manufacturing equipment.
• Commitment to safety procedures and quality standards.
• Ability to record production data accurately.
• Basic math and measurement skills for quality checks.
• Willingness to follow documented quality system instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate extrusion machines according to job specifications and safety standards.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure consistent quality and output.
• Adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, temperature, pressure) to maintain optimal production conditions.
• Make repairs to equipment when necessary and replace all broken and/or worn components
• Perform routine quality checks and inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Record production data and complete shift logs accurately
• Load raw materials and monitor material feed
• Follow all safety procedures and report any safety problems to the Production Manager immediately
• Identify and resolve basic machine malfunctions or deviation
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality control teams as needed
• Fulfills the role as required in the documented quality system manual, directives and work instruction
