Job summary

Engineered Floors in Dalton, GA is seeking an Extrusion Operator to efficiently run an extrusion machine for yarn production. The role focuses on starting and stringing up positions during breakouts and ensuring accurate labeling and pack-out.

You will work with a partner to maintain safe, productive operations, learn to clean and inspect spinnerets, and keep the work area clean and organized. Overtime may be required, and prior extrusion experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous extrusion experience preferred.
• Overtime may be required on occasion.

Performance Expectations (if applicable):

• Lifting, reaching, standing, stooping, and bending is required throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
• Must be able to use scissors, a wrap stick, wrenches, and other hand tools.
• Must be able to distinguish colors and shades.

Experience/Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Extrusion experience preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Overtime required on occasion.
• All accidents must be reported immediately.
