Job summary

Jobot in Crawfordsville, IN is seeking an Extrusion Operator to join our plastics production team. You will set up and operate extruders, dies, and feedlocks, and control critical process parameters to ensure quality output. This role includes startup/shutdown duties and ongoing equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience operating extruders and related equipment.
• Knowledge of co-extrusion materials and related processes.
• Ability to read measurements in metric and standard units.
• Ability to monitor temperature and pressure and adjust equipment settings.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate extruders, dies, and feedlocks.
• Control temperature, pressure, screw speed, and winder.
• Start up, shut down, and clean equipment.
• Installation, alteration, repair, maintenance, and adjustment of co-extrusion lines.
• Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment.
• Understand coex material operation.
• Use a standard and metric tape measure.
