Job summary

Actus Nutrition in Clara City, MN is seeking an Extrusion Operator to start up, run, troubleshoot, shutdown and clean the extruder machine while coordinating production with the Supervisor to ensure orders are completed on time.

The ideal candidate will have basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, experience with extrusion in a food/animal feed environment, and the ability to read process instructions from manuals; the role offers day or night shifts, night differential, and a comprehensive

• Exposure in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret process instructions from manuals.

Responsibilities

• Start- up, run, troubleshoot, shutdown and clean the extruder machine.
• Coordinate production runs with Supervisor to ensure orders are completed on time.
• Monitor and record the salt, caustic, temperature, density, and moisture levels of the product.
• Responsible for quality assurance of the product being processed.

We are currently seeking an Extrusion Operator to join the Clara City, MN team.

Pay Range: $22.00 - $31.00/hr, based on experience ($1.00/hr night differential)

Shift: 1st Shift (Days) is 6AM - 6PM, 2nd Shift (Nights) is 6PM - 6AM

Extruder Operators Responsibilities:

• Start- up, run, troubleshoot, shutdown and clean the extruder machine.
• Coordinate production runs with Supervisor to ensure orders are completed on time.
• Monitor and record the salt, caustic, temperature, density, and moisture levels of the product.
• Responsible for quality assurance of the product being processed.

Extruder Operators Requirements:

• Can do basic mathematics, is mechanically inclined and comfortable with hand tools.
• Previous food/animal feed extrusion experience preferred.
• Exposure in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret process instructions from manuals.
