Description:

Material Handler performs various critical job functions to support the operation of the Extrusion Department. These functions can range from transporting raw materials to dumping trash.

This is a 12-hour rotation Day shift, 7 PM – 7 AM.

What you will do as a Material Handler in the Extrusion Department:

• Operate lift truck 90% of the time.
• Keep designated lines stocked with all material needs.
• Move products from various areas within the plant using scanners and systems.
• Remove and replace scrap bins.
• Manually load or unload materials.
• Replace the gas tank on the lift truck as needed.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Follow all safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in Basic English
• Must be 18 years old or older
• Must be able to pass the eye exam
• Must have at least 6 months of previous lift truck experience.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have the ability to mount & dismount the lift truck repeatedly.
• Must be able to perform basic computer functions
• Willing and able to work in a hot, cold, dusty, and noisy industrial environment
• Complete Huali’s lift truck certification.
