LAPP in Florham Park, NJ, is seeking a dedicated machine operator to join our extrusion and machining lines. You will review specifications, set up tooling, and run first-article checks to help meet production targets while maintaining quality.

You’ll monitor throughput, perform basic maintenance, troubleshoot process issues, and uphold safety and a clean, collaborative work environment. A high school diploma and hands-on experience with micrometers and calipers are required, along with solid

Solid math and basic computer skills are essential.
Hands-on proficiency with measurement tools (micrometers and calipers) required.

Responsibilities

Operate extrusion and machining equipment to meet production targets.
Follow safety and QC checks; document results.
Own machines and perform setups, changeovers, basic maintenance, and end-of-run teardown.
Troubleshoot process issues and adjust to sustain output and quality.
Verify customer requirements and job instructions before and during production.
Keep a clean, safe, and collaborative work area.
