Job summary

Automation Personnel Services in Chattanooga, TN is seeking several Machine Operators for the Extrusion Department. Positions are full-time, temporary to hire, with day shift ($17.00) and night shift ($17.50).

Responsibilities include operating extrusion machines, assembling at stations, preparing materials, inspecting quality, and completing paperwork. Candidates must have 2 years of experience, a high school diploma, and be able to lift 50 pounds. Background check and drug screen required.

• 2 years of verifiable machine operator experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Stand for long periods and lift 50 pounds.
• Work in a high moisture situation.
• Background Check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Extrusion machines.
• Run assembly station with push buttons or guiding handles.
• Prepare material for removal by warehouse person.
• Pack products according to specifications while inspecting for quality.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork.
• Notify supervisor of any production or quality problems immediately.
