Job summary

VEKA North America is seeking an Extrusion Operator to run assigned extruders producing PVC profiles to VEKA standards. You will set up and start production machines, inspect processes, and document profiles.

This role offers starting pay of $21.00 per hour with shift differential and opportunities for training and growth. The successful candidate will have prior machine operation experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a collaborative, inclusive team environment at

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a machine operator or other mechanical experience preferred.
• Ability to perform QA sampling and use measurement tools as needed.
• Strong mechanical abilities and good judgement.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned extruders to produce PVC profiles according to VEKA standards.
• Set up and start-up of production machines and processes.
• Inspect and document profiles; prepare QA samples.
• Pack/finish profiles per VEKA specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for profile production.
• Accountable for properly preparing QA samples.
• Packaging of profiles according to VEKA standards.
• Inspection of profiles, including the use of scales, tape measures and other tools.

Requirements

Previous experience as a machine operator or other mechanical experience preferred. The ideal candidate for this role should possess good mechanical ability and judgement.
