Job summary

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Good math, measurement, and quality testing skills.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates thermo-plastic extruders and auxiliary equipment on the extruder line according to engineering specifications; makes immediate corrections where possible.
• Uses precision measuring instruments and records data to ensure quality standards are met.
• Performs tool changeovers to ensure proper dimensions and monitors process for irregularities.
• Handles materials for each process and maintains logs and reports as required.
• Participates in area and process team projects and activities.
• Performs or assists with other duties as assigned.
