Job summary

Inpro Corp. is seeking an Extrusion Machine Operator to set up, run, and monitor extrusion equipment in a 24/7 manufacturing environment at our Muskego facility. You will load materials, adjust processes, and ensure product quality while following safety standards.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work rotating day and night shifts with overtime as needed. A high school diploma and forklift certification (or the ability to obtain) are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Mechanically inclined with attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion production lines.
  • Load raw materials and maintain material flow.
  • Monitor temperatures, speeds, dimensions, and process performance.
  • Make minor process and color adjustments to meet specs.
  • Perform routine quality inspections and document results.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain clean, safe work area and document production records.
  • Support other extrusion lines as needed and participate in shift handoffs.

Description

As an Extrusion Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring extrusion equipment to manufacture quality products while maintaining our high standards for safety, efficiency, and productivity. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, mechanical processes, and working in a continuous manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do
  • Set up, start, operate, and shut down extrusion production lines.
  • Load raw materials and maintain proper material flow throughout production.
  • Monitor machine temperatures, line speeds, product dimensions, and overall process performance.
  • Make process and color adjustments to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Perform routine quality inspections and accurately document inspection results.
  • Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and support preventive maintenance activities.
  • Maintain accurate production records and communicate effectively during shift handoffs.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Support production on other extrusion lines as needed.
  • Follow all company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule

This position follows a 12-hour rotating Panama schedule (2-2-3) in a continuous 24/7 manufacturing operation.

Day Shift Hours: 5:00am - 5:00pm

You'll be expected to:

  • Work rotating day and night shifts.
  • Work every other weekend.
  • Work holidays and overtime as needed.
  • Participate in shift handoffs to ensure smooth production transitions.
