Job summary

Orotex Corporation in Novi, MI seeks a full-time manufacturing operator to safely operate, adjust and maintain extrusion equipment and related machinery to meet customer specifications.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, and forklift experience. You will work on designated production lines, assist with quality checks and collaborate with packers to achieve production goals in a temperature-controlled, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Ability to understand spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion machines on designated production lines.
• Change out dies and perform maintenance/calibration as needed.
• Adjust equipment to produce quality product.
• Ensure machinery is stocked with material.
• Assist packers with packing to meet customer requirements.
• Communicate with packers to meet production goals.
• Safely operate a forklift and overhead crane as needed.
• Read and follow instructions and procedures.
• Keep workstation clean and organized.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed.
