• Keep floors free of spills and debris in the work area.
• Take advantage of machine downtime for preventive or corrective maintenance to clean the equipment.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.

This position is responsible for providing cleaning services for extrusion machines by removing grease, wax, pellets, dust, and waste materials. The individual is responsible for keeping the machines clean and removing all waste material around the machines.This position reports to the Production Engineer Manager.DESCRIPTIONApplication of the Company’s Core Values in the work environment.Clean leaks as soon as they occur.Keep the floor free of wax, oil, water, grease, and pellets.Take advantage of machine downtime for Preventative Maintenance (PM) or Corrective Maintenance (CM) to clean the machine.COMPETENCIESGood attitude.Strong communication skills.EXPERIENCENo prior experience required.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to stand for long periods of time.Ability to work with solvents and cleaning agents.Ability to work at high areas (harnesses provided)WORKING CONDITIONSWork is primarily performed on the manufacturing floor, which involves exposure to loud noises, machinery (including moving equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and scissor lifts), and varying temperatures. There may also be potential exposure to chemicals, including ammonia, as well as dust.Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times while on the manufacturing floor.Reliable personal transportation is required to travel between multiple facilities during the workday.
