Job summary

PPG is seeking a Production Operator – Batching Operator in North Carolina to set up, mix, and deliver production chemicals with precision. You will learn raw materials, add and verify materials to kettles, and verify oil weigh-up while ensuring safety and quality.

This role requires reading and following work instructions in English, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and the capacity to work an 8-hour shift with overtime as needed. Forklift operation may be required as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English for training/safety purposes.
• Ability to work an 8-hour shift and overtime as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, mix, and deliver production chemicals with accurate composition.
• Add raw materials and verify materials to kettles.
• Add and verify oil weigh-up; stage rework as needed.
• Operate forklift as needed and verify pigment/stage rework.
