Polymer Resources, Ltd. in Farmington, CT is seeking line operator candidates for a position based at our Farmington, CT facility.

The role involves operating extrusion equipment (single and twin screw) and subsystems to create custom engineering resin compounds, setting up and changing over lines between batches, and maintaining documentation. Responsibilities include loading hoppers, feeding extruders, removing finished boxes, and keeping the work area clean while reporting to the shift

Qualifications

• Ability to work with hand tools
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to multitask
• Ability to handle basic math functions
• Ability to follow written instructions
• Forklift operation (Certification a plus)
• Ability to work independently if needed

Responsibilities

• Set up and change over extrusion lines
• Operate extrusion lines (single screw and twin screw) and the line sub systems
• Handle raw and finished goods
• Clean the work area
• Complete proper documentation for each batch
• Load hoppers of material to feed the extruders
