Job summary

The Electric Materials Company in North East, PA is seeking an Extrusion Lead Operator 1 Press to join our manufacturing team. This role focuses on operating the extrusion press, handling billet cutting, loading tooling and supporting downstream mill operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Primary function is to participate in all capacities in the effective operation of the Extrusion Press. Perform all operations as it would relate to billet cutting and loading, stacking tooling and loading, catching, block busting and processing material once extruded. Must be able to perform a wide variety of Mill operations such as but not limited to pointing and setting up and drawing and straightening materials. Will assist in training of new employees when required. Will adhere to Companywide safety policies and practices.
