Job summary

The role requires 1–3 years of experience operating packaging/plastics machinery, mechanical aptitude, and basic math skills. You will work across multiple machines and participate in maintenance and training tasks.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent plus mechanical training/aptitude and technical training on packaging, plastics, and printing equipment.
• Experience: 1–3 years operating packaging/plastics machinery.
• Language: Basic reading, writing, and speaking.
• Math: Proficient with arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry; able to compute fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.

Responsibilities

• Power up production machines and validate set points.
• Operate extrusion blow mold, extrusion machine, injection blow mold, injection mold, label, pad printer, and silk-screen equipment.
• Perform minor maintenance and supervise purging; maintain clean, safe work area.
• Document problems, causes, and solutions; collect production/quality data; support run closeouts.
• Train Technician Operators and cover breaks and lunches; support special projects.
