Job summary

Polyzen, Inc. is seeking an Extrusion Development Engineer in North Carolina to drive extrusion development through the product life cycle, working with Flat Die Extruders, Layflat extrusion, and laminators.

You will engage with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to achieve on-time delivery, quality, and safety targets. The role requires 5–7 years in extrusion or related processes, knowledge of ISO 13485 and GMP, and the ability to translate client needs into engineering

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in extrusion, blow molding, or injection molding operations.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485, 9001, and GMP practices.
• Ability to translate client inputs into engineering requirements and to mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Leads multiple extrusion development projects across product lifecycles.
• Designs scalable manufacturing processes for production environments.
• Specifies tooling, fixtures, and equipment for extrusion processes.
• Develops and qualifies test and inspection methods for product attributes.
• Trains junior extrusion engineers and acts as SME.
