Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an extrusion operator at our Auburn, WA facility. The role involves inspecting extruded products for consistency, operating packaging equipment, and ensuring accurate counts, labels, and paperwork to meet defined standards.

Day shifts run from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM with a rotating schedule. Must be able to stand for 12-hour shifts, read a tape measure to 16th of an inch, and perform routine quality inspections while collaborating with teammates to maintain

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure to the 16th of an inch.
• Related machine operation experience preferred.
• Standing for 12-hour shifts with bending and lifting.
• Basic Math skills and ability to read English.
• Read quality tests and inspect product accuracy.

Responsibilities

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $21.50 - $22.50

Day Shift: 6AM - 6:30PM Rotaing shift

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Extrusion Operators visually inspects extruded product for consistent appearance and length according to defined standards.

• Associate ensures product consistency and standards including but not limited to proper counts, packing patterns, and labels


• Associate maintains paperwork as required


• Performs online quality inspections


• Operates packaging equipment

Qualifications

• Must be able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment


• Ability to work independently and within a team environment to meet goals and quality standards


• Must be at least 18 years of age


• Ability to understand and follow safety polices.


• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check


• No experience required. Manufacturing and Extrusion experience highly preferred

The US base pay range for this full-time position is $20.50 per hour to $21.50 per hour + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
