Job summary

Mars is hiring an Extruder Operator for the Lewisburg, Ohio facility. You will safely operate and set up extrusion, drying, and coating equipment to meet daily production goals while upholding safety and Mars quality standards.

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Good math, reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up extrusion, drying, and coating equipment to meet daily production targets while maintaining safety and Mars quality standards.
• Observe Lockout/Tagout and all safety procedures.
• Operate extruders to meet food safety temperatures and gelatinization requirements.
• Complete required food safety/quality checks and address non-compliance.
• Monitor downtime, throughput, and food safety requirements.
• Read and execute daily production run schedule; communicate disruptions or deficiencies to the team.
• Maintain knowledge of all equipment in milling/processing area.
