Job summary

Altium Packaging in Reidsville, NC is seeking Production Machine Operators to operate blow-mold equipment and support a fast-paced manufacturing line. You will perform quality inspections, adjust processes to meet specs, and assist with maintenance while following safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in the field or related area; ability to recommend process improvements.

• Desire to learn and adapt to a manufacturing environment.
• Apprenticeship or formal training in area of specialty preferred.
• Training or background operating production equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate blow-mold machines to produce quality bottles.
• Perform audits, weight checks, and quality inspections.
• Adhere to quality control standards and GMP procedures.
• Make adjustments to meet product specifications.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and mechanical changes.
• Train new blow-mold operators as required.
• Document daily reports and line performance metrics.

In this role, you will operate a variety of production equipment, including blow-mold machines, grinders, trimmer machines, and conveyor systems.

Prior experience with these specific machines is not necessary. As long as you have strong background operating equipment, we can teach you what you need to know. • Operating blow-mold machines (including wheels, reciprocating, or shuttle machines) to ensure production of quality bottles
• Performing audits, weights, and quality checks
• Adhering to quality control, blow mold process procedure, and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Making adjustments to meet product specifications
• Repairing or replacing pneumatic and hydraulic lines
• Assisting with preventive maintenance, mold, neck and blow pin, and other mechanical changes
• Grinding excess bottle and material
• Troubleshooting and resolve process problems
• Preparing maintenance request forms and documenting equipment repairs
• Training blow-mold employees as required
• Preparing and documenting daily reports, including rejects, regrinds, and line efficiencies
• Ensuring compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies
• Performing other duties as assigned by management

Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
