Vinmar Recycling Solutions in Belmont, NC is seeking a Plastics Manufacturing Extruder Operator to set up, operate and maintain extrusion machines for plastic product production.

The role requires understanding of the extrusion process, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Training on 4-10 hour shifts will precede a shift transition, with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in plastics manufacturing preferred.
• Proven experience as an Extruder Operator or similar role in the plastics industry.
• Strong understanding of the extrusion process and related machinery.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.

You will be responsible for monitoring the extrusion process, making necessary adjustments, and troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise. Additionally, you will work closely with team members to ensure that production goals are met and safety protocols are followed. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of the extrusion process, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality and safety. This position has a schedule of 4-10 hours shifts, Monday through Thursday. Shift A - 7:00am to 5:00pm; Training on Shift A for 8 weeks, then transition to Shift B - 5:00pm to 3:00am.
