Job summary

Custom Staffing is hiring for a 3rd Shift Extruder Operator in Covington, OH. The role works a 2-2-3 rotation with a shift from 5:45pm to 6:00am, involving standing and lifting duties on a production line.

Responsibilities include operating extrusion equipment safely, moving finished product, packaging, and recording measurements. Benefits follow after hire, including health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of extrusion or machine operator experience.
• Stable work history with good longevity.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, squat, climb stairs and perform physical tasks during shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion machinery safely and efficiently.
• Remove finished product from the production line when spools are full.
• Transfer product from the machine to shipping skids using lifting equipment as needed.
• Wrap product for packaging.
• Record product weights, widths, and thicknesses.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate extrusion machinery safely and efficiently.
• Remove finished product from the production line once spools are full.
• Transfer product from the machine to shipping skids using lifting equipment as needed.
• Wrap product for packaging.
• Record product weights, widths, and thicknesses.
• Handle 3' and 9' shafts depending on the machine and product, with lifting equipment available to assist.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of machine operator or extrusion operator experience.
• Stable work history with good job longevity.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, squat, climb stairs, and perform other physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
