Job summary

West Hartford Public Schools seeks an Extraordinary Needs Paraprofessional at Charter Oak International Academy to support students with behavioral, social and emotional concerns.

This full-time, 10-month position requires a proactive, patient and respectful approach, with strong interpersonal skills. Lifting and other physical duties are possible; PMT training and prior experience are preferred. Salary follows the paraprofessional contract.

• Lifting and other physical duties are associated with this position.
• Prior experience preferred. PMT training preferred.
• Paraprofessionals are expected to exhibit professionalism, punctuality, and attentiveness of job responsibilities at all times.
