Job summary

WestRock Coffee is seeking an experienced Extract Operator to join the Extraction Team. This role focuses on daily extract processing, filtration, and related operational tasks to maintain throughput and product integrity.

You will work with SOPs, QA, Packaging, and Maintenance, log data, and participate in safety meetings. The role requires 1+ year in a production setting, the ability to lift 50+ lbs, and to work in hot, cold, loud, and wet environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a production-related role.
• General knowledge of extraction technology and equipment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and traversing stairs/ ladders as needed.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in all entry-level extract operations and equipment handling.
• Responsible for extract production in accordance with SOPs and within defined processing specifications.
• Actively reports safety hazards and supports corrective actions.
• Samples extract batches for quality control and verification purposes.
• Accurately logs and reports processing data and quality results.
• Monitors extraction processes and escalates issues to supervisors.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicates effectively with the extraction team and other departments.
