About the Role

Social Care in Action is dedicated to supporting individuals in our Extra Care Schemes, ensuring they remain safe and well. We are excited to announce new opportunities for Support Workers at our new Extra Care Scheme in New Milton, Wooldridge View.

Shifts are available for Days: 07:00 to 14:00 and 16:00-21:00, including long day shifts with an hour break, and Waking Nights from 21:00 to 07:00.

About You

We value personality and passion over formal education. Caring experience is ideal but not essential; the right attitude and values are what matter most. Full training and support will be provided.

About the Role

Our Extra Care Schemes support individuals to live independently in their own homes through person-centred care. You will help promote independence, assist with daily routines, support social inclusion, and provide personal care respecting individual needs.

Responsibilities
  1. Promoting independence and assisting with daily routines.
  2. Encouraging participation and social inclusion.
  3. Providing personal care with respect and sensitivity.
  4. Participating in household tasks like cleaning and cooking.
