Unitek Learning is seeking a Medical Assisting Externship Coordinator to manage externship sites, student placements, and compliance, with a focus on employment outcomes. Prior Medical Assistant experience is not required, but strong project management, relationship-building, and follow-through skills are essential.

• Active Medical Assistant license required with proven 3 years experience.
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred; equivalent work experience in community outreach, workforce development, healthcare partnerships or as a Medical Assistant will be considered.

Responsabilidades

• Secure, maintain, and expand a network of externship sites.
• Coordinate timely student placements to start with the externship module.
• Monitor attendance and completion of externship hours; track progress to graduation.
• Conduct site visits and evaluations to assess learning environment and student performance.
• Educate and support site supervisors and students on externship policies and procedures.
• Provide exceptional student service through regular communication and issue resolution.
• Represent the program professionally with partners and employers; participate in career fairs as needed.
