Job summary

The Bridge is seeking an External Data Manager in New York to oversee HRIS and related systems across HR, Finance, MIS, and other departments. You will ensure data accuracy, support reporting, and manage integrations with multiple platforms.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to improve data management and operational efficiency, while assisting with onboarding and credentialing of staff in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain optimal functions of the HRIS system, including installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade of applications, modules.
• Maintain position control information by matching positions and staff across HRIS, finance, program lists, and data sources.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
• Program custom functions and operations into the HRIS system.
• Assist with data reporting needs of senior staff.
• Help connect HRIS data with other data sources for analysis and visualizations.
• Facilitate technology integrations between HR, Finance, Property Management, EHRs, Learning Management, Microsoft, and Data Visualization.
• Manage internal system for onboarding, credentialing, and technology for new staff and changes.
• Collaborate with senior staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Scope of Position

The External Data Manager is responsible for managing external software systems, including HR and Property Management platforms, that support HR, Finance, MIS, and other departments. This role ensures data accuracy across systems, maintains and supports HRIS functions, manages system integrations, assists with reporting and data analysis, and provides technical support to users. The position also supports onboarding, credentialing, and technology access while collaborating with senior leadership to improve operational efficiency and data management organization-wide.
