Job summary

Paramount Staffing LLC is seeking an External Sanitation Technician for the 2nd shift (Sunday – Wednesday, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM). Pay rate is $19.50–$20.15 per hour, with potential overtime.

You will clean exterior parts of machinery, perform floor cleaning, maintain sanitation logs, follow GMP, HACCP, SQF, and food defense guidelines, and safely handle chemicals. English proficiency 80–90% is required. Training on first shift is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in food safety or manufacturing environment.
• Experience with chemicals or sanitation processes preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, and Food Defense principles.
• Speak, read, and write English (80–90% proficiency required).

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing of equipment
• Follow Master Sanitation and Filler Sanitation schedules
• Adhere to all SOPs and food safety guidelines
• Safely handle sanitation chemicals
• Perform micro plating and interpret results (if applicable)
• Maintain accurate sanitation logs and records
• Identify process improvements and report issues to management
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
• Support team operations and complete additional tasks as needed

Training Requirement: Must complete training on 1st shift ( Deal Breaker )
Opportunity: Temp-to-Hire after 90 days

Position Breakdown:

External Sanitation Technician (Cleaning):

• Clean exterior parts of machinery (screens, buttons, surfaces)
• Perform floor cleaning (light janitorial duties)
• Work with less aggressive cleaning chemicals
• Focus on maintaining overall cleanliness of equipment and work areas

Key Responsibilities :

• Ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing of equipment
• Follow Master Sanitation and Filler Sanitation schedules
• Adhere to all SOPs and food safety guidelines
• Safely handle sanitation chemicals

• Strong warehouse or stable work history is a plus
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, SQF, and Food Defense principles
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (overtime, weekends as needed)
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English (80–90% proficiency required)
• Strong attention to detail (especially for sanitation logs)
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
• Must be flexible and able to prioritize this role (no scheduling conflicts with second jobs preferred)
