Job summary

Conagra Brands is seeking a qualified finance professional to support external financial reporting and technical accounting under US GAAP. You will partner with Corporate Controllers Group, FP&A, Investor Relations, HR, Legal, Tax, Treasury, Internal Audit, and external auditors to deliver accurate reporting and compliant filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 4+ years of public accounting experience or technical accounting in a publicly traded company.
• Thorough understanding of US GAAP and internal control requirements for publicly traded companies.
• Experience preparing and/or reviewing SEC filings.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Experience with SAP and governance tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation, review, and filing of SEC reports (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K).
• Participate in acquisitions, divestitures, and policy updates.
• Perform period-end close activities and resolve unusual transactions.
• Maintain general ledger in SAP environment.
• Research complex accounting matters and document conclusions.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Evaluate and enhance accounting processes and controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Communicate accounting conclusions clearly.
• Drive automation and data analytics initiatives.
