Greif is seeking an External Reporting Intern in Ohio to support recurring reporting activities, assist with internal control documentation, and collaborate with Finance, Accounting and Internal Audit teams.

You will gather data, perform trend analyses, and help drive process improvements to enhance data quality and reporting accuracy while participating in department meetings and cross-functional projects.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
• Interest in financial reporting, auditing, or internal controls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Support recurring external reporting activities, analyses, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Assist with internal control activities, including control documentation, evidence organization, and process walkthroughs.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, and other business partners.
• Perform data gathering, validation, trend analysis, and research.
• Support process-improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and data quality.
• Participate in department meetings, networking events, and cross-functional activities.
• Complete assigned projects and deliver accurate, timely, and well-organized work.

Education and Experience

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.

Knowledge and Skills

• Takes initiative and is intellectually curious.
• An effective communicator, both written and oral.
• Some knowledge of the function related to the position.
• Interest in financial reporting, auditing, or internal controls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is $24.18 - $41.20 annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between 24.00 to 24.00 annually. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
