Job summary

Kenvue Inc. is seeking an External Quality Co-op in Summit, NJ for Jan–Jun 2027. You will deliver real-time solutions, maintain KPI metrics, and gain exposure to a complex supply chain. The role emphasizes data-driven decision making and collaboration with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require sponsorship now or in the future.
• Minimum of 2 years of a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree program completed (Chemistry/Biology or Biological Sciences preferred).
• Eligible to complete a 6-month co-op in Summit, NJ Jan–Jun, Monday–Friday (40 hrs/wk).
• High level of organization in a dynamic environment.
• Desire to tackle problems with end-user focus.
• Strong professional communications with internal and external partners.

What you will do

This co-op with the External Quality team will provide you with an opportunity to deliver solutions to consumers in real time! The intern will be a key member of the team helping achieve a key objective of timely delivery of consumer products. You will also maintain and publish key performance indicating metrics for the team. In addition, you will get an overview of the intricacies of a complex supply chain and challenges of navigating through it.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve maintenance of third-party vendor lists.
• Increase efficiency of processes through the use of technology such as Smartsheet, AI, power BI, SAP/OneS4 Hana, etc.
• Collect and review quality documentation against pre-determined specifications, including but not limited to batch records, certificates of analysis, and certificates of manufacture for product approval.
• Support the collection, review and organization of master documentation data, both hard copy and electronically, to ensure compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.
• Lead and provide support to various continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supports product qualification and validation activities as part of ongoing support to marketed products as well as new product launches.
• Develop Power BI dashboards from existing and new sources of External Quality data which will enable real-time decision making

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B status)
• A minimum of 2 years complete of a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree program is required (A focused degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Biological Sciences is preferred)
• Eligible to complete a 6-month co-op term in Summit, NJ. This assignment will take place from January to June, Monday-Friday (40 hours per week)
• Maintains a high level of organization in a dynamic environment
• A desire to tackle problems keeping the end user at the center
• Strong social skills, including professional communications, both orally and through email, with internal and external partners

Desired Qualifications

• Ability to take initiative to continuously improve personally and through optimizing processes used in the role
• Strong computer skills (e.g. use of Power BI, Word, Outlook and Excel), and the ability to learn new software systems.
• Familiar in the use of Artificial Intelligence tools for research and problem solving
• Able to work effectively in a team through open communication and collaboration

What’s in it for you

Hourly pay rate for new hires in this position ranges:

$20.00 - $45.00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
