Job summary

onsemi is seeking a senior role based in the United States to drive stable operational performance, yield improvement, and manufacturing continuity at external subcontractors, acting as the bridge between External Manufacturing and the Business Unit.

The candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders and subcontractor teams on operations management, program management, and risk awareness, leading strategic projects in operational excellence, value engineering, and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in semiconductor industry, preferably in assembly/backend manufacturing operations.
• Project management skills and proven experience are required.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and structured problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with global teams.
• Proficiency in BI Tools, Python and SQL would be advantageous.

This position, based in the United States, is responsible for driving stable operational performance, yield improvement, and manufacturing continuity at external subcontractors for (Onsemi). Serving as the focal point between the External Manufacturing team and the Business Unit (BU), this role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders and subcontractor teams to execute the following responsibilities:
