Job summary

eClinical Solutions is seeking an External Data Specialist to manage external and local lab data across the clinical trial lifecycle. You will ensure data integrity, assist with documentation review, and support the Clinical Data Management team in data quality control and validation.

The role focuses on local lab and external data processes, data reconciliation, start-up activities, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with vendor data and study protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in health-related field or equivalent experience.
• ICH/GCP knowledge and clinical trial methodology understanding.
• Excellent English language skills (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Communicate data issues to the Clinical Data Manager and study team.
• QC of laboratory normal ranges and data entry for accuracy.
• Review local lab and external data eCRF design during start-up.
• Maintain external data reconciliation logs and change logs.
• Support data trending and analytics using elluminate platforms.
