Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia is seeking a Main Banker to support casino operations by accurately handling cash transactions, maintaining accountability, and delivering professional guest service on the gaming floor.

The role involves ensuring strict cash-handling procedures, assisting with daily bank functions, and maintaining reliable financial flow for guest and team member transactions. Union-represented position with shift scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• One year cashier or banking experience preferred.
• Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Responsibilities

• Servicing all cashiers and team member exchanges throughout the shift.
• Keeping cash drawer balanced and accurate.
• Completing Currency Transaction Reports and tax forms.
• Accurate record-keeping in all duties and responsibilities.
• Answering customer questions in a courteous and professional manner.
• Verifying and documenting personal ID information for checks and cash transactions.
• Making exchanges with Main bank, Marker bank, and Chip bank.
• Cashing out customers and giving correct change.
• Understanding the casino credit application process.

Compensation: $16/hr + tips!

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Servicing all cashiers and team member exchanges throughout the shift.
• Keeping cash drawer balanced and impressed.
• Completing Currency Transaction Reports, W2G tax forms and multiple transactions logs.
• Accurate record-keeping in all aspects of duties and responsibilities.
• Answering customer questions in a courteous and professional manner.
• Verifying and documenting personal ID information for checks, cash advances, and slot marker transactions.
• Making exchanges with Main bank, Marker bank, and Chip bank.
• Responsible for cashing out customers, giving correct change.
• Become familiar with the casino credit application process.
• Cleaning/washing of chips.

Qualifications

Must Haves:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One (1) year cashier or banking experience preferred.
• Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to:
  • Work at a fast pace in stressful situations.
  • Stand for entire shift.
  • Lift, push, or pull up to 50lbs.
  • Stoop, bend, and squat.
• Must be able to work in a location with loud noise and visual distractions.

Working Conditions:

• 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.
• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
• You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.

Please note that this is a union position, and individuals in this role may be required to pay applicable union dues and fees.

Please note that this is a union-represented position and scheduling is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Team Members may be required to participate in shift bids, and shift assignments may change based on operational requirements and Team Member seniority.
