Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia seeks a full-time Chip Runner to support smooth game operations and guest experiences. You will handle cash exchanges, distribute chips, and assist with game setup under supervision, constantly focusing on speed, accuracy, and guest service.

The role is entry-level, ideal for individuals with serving experience aiming to enter the casino industry. The environment is fast-paced with union representation and requires flexibility across shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service with a professional demeanor.
• Exchange cash and distribute chips to guests.
• Assist players with color up and chip denomination exchanges.
• Assist dealers and supervisors in starting, combining, and breaking games.
• Ensure safety and security by reporting suspicious activity.
• Attend training and meetings as required.

Full-Time Chip Runners offer a service that is an added convenience for players, which allows for games to run smoothly and seamlessly without having to stop to purchase more chips. The chip runner works with bankers, floor supervisors, and poker dealers to ensure a favorable guest experience from beginning to end.

This is a great entry-level position for those with serving experience who are looking to break into the high-earning career of poker. The fast-paced and exciting atmosphere of our casino is sure to provide a thrill and keep you on your toes!

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Providing exemplary customer service with a professional demeanor.
• Exchange of cash and distributing chips to guests.
• Assisting players who wish to color up, taking their small-denomination chips and exchanging them for larger denominations.
• Assisting dealers and supervisors in the starting, combining, and breaking of games.
• Ensuring the safety and security of team members and guests by notifying management of any suspicious or unusual activities.
• Attending training and meetings when required.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of work area, including the collection of chip trays and returning them to designated areas.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Working Conditions:

• 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.
• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
• You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.

Please note that this is a union position, and individuals in this role may be required to pay applicable union dues and fees.

We encourage Team Members to share their preferred shift availability, and we will strive to accommodate individual scheduling preferences whenever possible and consistent with business needs. Please note that this is a union-represented position and scheduling is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Team Members may be required to participate in shift bids, and shift assignments may change based on operational requirements and Team Member seniority.
