The Lead Drop and Count team assists the Drop and Count Supervisor in collecting all drop boxes from the gaming floor, placing them on designated carts, and securing them for transport to the count room. Additionally, the Lead is responsible for counting all currency, coins, tickets, and coupons from each drop box, as well as proceeds from other casino activities such as food & beverage cash turn-ins and team member toke turn-ins.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the efficient operation of the drop and count staff.
• Ensure compliance with gaming regulations during drop and count procedures.
• Complete financial reports and maintain security of information.
• Monitor and adjust staffing levels to meet budget requirements.
• Delegate responsibilities and develop staff through training and performance management.
• Supervise processes to reduce injuries and improve efficiency.
• Review activities with the Drop and Count Supervisor.
• Collaborate with departmental supervisors and managers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
