Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

  • Develop and manage the scheduling of EVS work assignments and oversee the completion of these assignments.
  • Supervise staff and shifts to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness at Live! Casino.
  • Ensure the safety and security of guests and team members through proper supervision.
  • Manage processes and programs to control and reduce loss time injuries.
  • Prepare staffing schedules to ensure proper shift coverage.
  • Assist managers with employment interviews and provide input for performance evaluations.
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable OSHA standards for safety, chemicals, and bloodborne pathogens, and operate cleaning equipment safely.
  • Review EVS activities with the EVS Manager.
  • Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • Two to five years of experience in a high-volume facility such as retail, casino, hospital, hotel, or public facility in janitorial or executive housekeeping.
  • A 2-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by the Virginia Gaming Control Board or other applicable regulatory entities, or as required by Live! standards.

Physical Requirements:

  • Use of two-way radio with earpiece for communication.
  • Push/lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Stand and/or walk for up to 7.5 hours per shift.
  • Stoop, crouch, and kneel as needed.
  • Reach with arms.
  • Ascend/descend stairs during shifts.
  • Work in a loud environment.
  • Operate equipment requiring manual dexterity.
