Job summary

Peraton Labs seeks a Technical Project Lead for the Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland location. This onsite role focuses on technically managing cost, schedule, and performance of R&D engineering projects.

Ideal candidates hold a TS clearance with SCI eligibility, US citizenship, and a strong background in EO/IR, RF, or EW technologies and military system RDT&E experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in CS/engineering/physics or related field plus 7+ years of engineering experience.
• At least 3 years in a project lead role managing cost, schedule and performance of R&D engineering projects.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; US Citizenship required.
• Experience with EO/IR technologies, RF technologies or EW technologies.
• Experience with military system RDT&E processes and organizations.

We are searching for a Technical Project Lead for our Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland location. This position will be onsite, 5 days a week. Primary responsibility will be to technically manage cost, schedule, and performance of R&D engineering projects.

Qualifications

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, engineering, physics or other related discipline plus at least 7 years of engineering experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a project lead role technically managing cost, schedule and performance of R&D engineering projects
• Position requires an active Top Secret clearance, with SCI eligibility
• US Citizenship
• Should have robust knowledge/experience of EO/IR technologies , RF technologies or Electronic Warfare (EW)technologies
• Experience with military system RDT&E processes and organizations

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

• Ideal candidate would be EW SME with Army project leader experience
• Prior DOD civilian project leader or military project/product manager.

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
