Peraton is offering a Summer 2027 Electrical Engineering Intern position in Topeka, KS, onsite. You will work on the USPS Central Repair Facility program, performing device modeling, circuit design, and software tasks as part of a small team supporting critical missions.

Ideal candidates are full-time students majoring in Electrical or Computer Engineering, with a 3.0 GPA, and who can commit to at least 10 weeks over Summer 2027, including daily onsite work in Topeka.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Postal Service security clearance.
• Clearance is required to start.
• Enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, graduating after August 2027.
• Major in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or related field.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or higher with transcripts uploaded at application.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for at least 10 weeks in Summer 2027.
• Local to Topeka, KS or willing to commute onsite daily.

Required Qualifications:

• Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2027.
• Be majoring in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile).
• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
• Must be local to the Topeka, KS area and/or willing to commute onsite daily.

Desired Qualifications:

• 3.7 cumulative GPA or higher.
• Good presentation and writing/communication skills.
• Self-motivated, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment.
• Experience in developing and delivering presentations and leading small groups.
• Experience in working in an autonomous work environment on complex projects.
• Experience in working on business or engineering full life-cycle projects from project inception through launch.

Target Salary Range

The rate / range per hour below represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
