Peraton is seeking a Digital Forensic Analyst in Sterling, VA to research, evaluate system configuration data, and provide recommendations to improve security posture across networks and infrastructure.
The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, Mandarin language, and a technical degree with 8 years of experience (or 4 extra years in lieu). You will perform network traffic analysis, forensics, vulnerability assessment, and support penetration testing.
The Digital Forensic Analyst will conduct research, evaluate system configuration data, and provide recommendations to enhance security posture of network and infrastructure. The successful applicant must understand network protocols to identify attack points that could be exploited by an adversary and work with the team to implement changes to mitigate potential weaknesses/vulnerabilities. $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
