Job summary

Rocket Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly motivated Manager, External Affairs to support the company's Investor Relations, External Communications, and Scientific Communications activities.

This role will translate complex scientific and business information into clear, accurate messaging for external stakeholders and collaborate across Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Finance, and Leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in life sciences, communications, journalism, public relations, business, or related discipline.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience spanning investor relations, corporate communications, and/or scientific communications, ideally within biotech or pharmaceuticals.
• Excellent writer with strong project coordination skills and experience supporting multi‑stakeholder workflows.
• Strong scientific writing skills and ability to interpret data for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute investor and corporate communications materials (earnings presentations, corporate decks, press releases, talking points).
• Coordinate quarterly earnings, investor conferences, and roadshows; manage messaging and libraries.
• Support translation of scientific data into clear external communications for diverse audiences.
• Coordinate publication planning, reviews, timelines, and congress deliverables with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain scientific communication plans and trackers across development programs.
