RENSON NORTH AMERICA, Inc. is looking for an External Account Manager for the Northeastern American market. As an External Account Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day support, management and sales of all Renson products to the dedicated customer group in order to strengthen the market share and achieve the expected sales objectives. In your role you will be working closely together with the internal sales team and you are expected to inform the Country Sales Manager about commercial opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Renson’s current network of architects, designers, general contractors and clients to foster long-term business partnerships.
  • Work out of our Manhattan, NY showroom to better educate our dealers, architects, clients and general contractors throughout the North East region.
  • Identify new routes to market to expand direct sales to new potential customers to generate business opportunities and increase Renson’s market share in the North East, especially in the states of Virginia and Maine.
  • Have a deep understanding of the products being offered to effectively communicate their features and benefits to Architects, General Contractors, and Key Account customers.
  • Conduct presentations to Architects, General Contractors and other influencers showcasing how the products meet their needs in an effort to grow Renson’s specifier network.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies and offer critical insights to the R&D groups.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and customer support, to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to sales.
  • Support Renson External Account Managers and the internal sales team to ensure systems and processes are aligned with aggressive growth targets in North America.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas set by the company.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, results, and forecasts to the Country Manager or relevant stakeholders.
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities, inclusive of customer interactions, architects, general contractors and influencers in Salesforce.
  • This position requires a willingness to travel extensively mainly in the North-East region of the US, industry events, and occasionally abroad. Must have a valid Drivers License due to the travel requirements in the North-East region which will be via car, train and air, depending upon the location.
