As an intern, you'll develop analytical, negotiation, and project management skills while collaborating with cross‑functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Supply Chain Management, Business, Purchasing, Finance, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Students entering their Junior or Senior year at the start of the upcoming academic term.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret data and support business decisions.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reports, and basic financial or cost analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and cross‑functional teams, including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain organizations.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on commitments.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to track timelines, action items, and project milestones.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• GPA of 3.0 or above (Candidates will be required to provide an official or unofficial transcript during the application process for verification.)
• Ability to perform work onsite at NTCNA in Farmington Hills, MI.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing and quotation activities by collecting, organizing, and analyzing supplier quotations and commercial proposals.
• Compare supplier pricing, tooling investments, and sourcing options to support business decisions.
• Assist in preparing sourcing recommendations, cost analyses, and supplier comparison summaries.
• Track supplier quality, delivery, capacity, and commercial performance metrics while supporting supplier risk assessments.
• Monitor key milestones associated with new vehicle launches and engineering changes, ensuring sourcing activities remain on schedule.
• Coordinate follow‑up actions with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support successful program execution.
