Job summary

Walmart in Coral Springs, FL is seeking a Technician for Facility Services, Exterior Services-DOT to support seasonal exterior maintenance and operations at WM Supercenter #2963. You’ll manage equipment, safety, and vendor coordination, ensuring a clean, safe, and compliant outdoor environment.

The role requires DOT qualifications, a valid driver's license, and landscaping experience, with duties spanning budgeting, asset upkeep, and customer-focused service to events and facility users.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving within the last three years.
• No more than two moving violations in the last three years (commercial license).
• No serious traffic violations in the last three years (FMCSR).
• No preventable accidents in the last three years (commercial vehicle).
• Successful completion of a DOT physical and medical certification pre-hire.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• 2 years’ experience in the landscaping/gardening industry.

Responsibilities

• Operation of a department and related duties as assigned.
• Promote and ensure compliance with policies, ethics, and integrity; support Open Door Policy.
• Follow OSHA/EPA regulations and Walmart Exterior Service guidance; safety first.
• Control costs by price comparisons; submit warranty claims.
• Submit forms to Regional Managers and Home Office associates.
• Lead third-party providers and conduct performance evaluations.
