Position Summary
Walmart is hiring Landscape Technician Operators! You will make an impact as a year-round Landscape Technician by keeping landscapes attractive, clean, and well maintained. This includes moving lawns, pruning, and fertilizing shrubs, lawns, bushes, trees, and flowers. You must love working outdoors in different types of weather and enjoy physical labor.
What you'll do
- Landscaping, including mowing, trimming, and pruning year-round
- Perform grounds maintenance on parking lots, exterior building, and surrounding areas to ensure cleanliness
- Work as part of a team responsible for landscaping and exterior cleaning/ground maintenance
- Adhere to safety, security, and integrity standards, complying with policies and regulations
- Travel may be required for essential functions

Minimum Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years old
- Hold a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean record
- Pass a driver’s road test for the truck and trailer to be operated
- Obtain necessary licenses or endorsements
- Effective communication skills in person or via telecommunications

- Ability to present information to groups

- Ability to operate a vehicle safely
- Visual inspection of equipment

Minimum Qualifications

- Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years
- No recent DUI, DWI, reckless driving violations
- Limited moving violations in recent years
- No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years
- No preventable accidents involving fatalities or injuries while operating a commercial vehicle
- Negative drug/alcohol tests in the past 5 years, with successful completion of a substance abuse program if applicable
- Successful completion of a DOT physical and medical certification for at least 6 months
- Basic English language proficiency
- Successful road test for the truck and trailer to be operated
- Ability to obtain all necessary licenses or endorsements
- Optionally, vocational/technical certification or 2 years’ related experience
- Within 30 days of hire, obtain and maintain DOT certification
- Provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption

- Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance, Construction Management, or related field
- Certified Facilities Manager (CFM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or related certification
