Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $35.00/hr

Position Summary

Walmart is hiring Landscape Technician Operators! You will make an impact as a year-round Landscape Technician by keeping landscapes attractive, clean, and well maintained. This includes moving lawns, pruning, and fertilizing shrubs, lawns, bushes, trees, and flowers. You must love working outdoors in different weather conditions and enjoy physical labor.

What you’ll do

• Landscaping, including mowing, trimming, and pruning year-round
• Perform grounds maintenance on the parking lot, exterior building, and surrounding ground areas to provide a clean environment
• Be part of a team responsible for landscaping and exterior cleaning/ground maintenance
• Adhere to safety, security, and integrity standards, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
• Travel may be necessary to perform essential functions

Minimum Qualifications

• Effective communication skills in person or via telecommunications

Physical Activity

• Visual and reading skills, often in small print
• Operate a motor vehicle weighing 10,000 to 26,000 lbs
• Inspect equipment and abide by safety regulations

Additional Compensation

Hourly wages range from $19.00 to $35.00, with potential premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.

Additional Minimum Qualifications

• 21 years or older
• Valid driver’s license, no recent DUI, DWI, or reckless driving convictions
• No preventable accidents or serious traffic violations in the past 3 years
• Able to pass a DOT physical and obtain medical certification
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in related fields
• Certifications such as CFM or PMP
• Experience in third-party management
