Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $35.00/hr

Position Summary

Walmart is hiring Landscape Technician Operators! You will make an impact as a Landscape Technician by keeping landscapes attractive, clean, and well maintained. This includes moving lawns, pruning, and fertilizing shrubs, lawns, bushes, trees, and flowers. You must love working outdoors in different weather conditions and enjoy physical labor.

What you'll do

• Perform landscaping tasks such as mowing, trimming, and pruning year-round
• Maintain grounds around the parking lot, exterior building, and surrounding areas to ensure cleanliness
• Work as part of a team responsible for landscaping and exterior cleaning/ground maintenance
• Follow safety, security, and integrity standards, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
• Travel may be required to perform essential functions

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old
• Hold a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean record
• Pass a driver’s road test for the truck and trailer to be operated
• Obtain necessary licensing or endorsements for operating state-required vehicles

Physical activities include:

• Presenting information to groups and individuals
• Communicating effectively in person and via telecommunications
• Visually verifying information, often in small print
• Reading and creating documents and reports
• Operating vehicles weighing 10,001 to 26,000 lbs with a valid driver’s license
• Inspecting equipment and complying with FMCSA regulations
