Job summary

Walmart Distribution Center in Littleton, CO is hiring an Exterior Services DOT Operator. You will oversee landscape projects, manage grounds maintenance year-round, and work with a team to keep exterior areas pristine. You’ll perform mowing, trimming, and pruning while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 21+, valid license, English proficiency, and a DOT medical certification. DOT compliance and a strong focus on safety are essential to succeed in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include: 21 years of age or older; valid state-issued driver’s license; ability to read and communicate effectively in English; successful completion of a DOT physical and medical certification.
• 2 years’ experience in the landscaping/gardening industry
• Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI convictions or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct grounds maintenance activities in parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Work alongside fellow associates to manage all aspects of landscaping and exterior maintenance.
• Adhere to safety, security, and integrity protocols, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements at local, federal, and state levels.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines.
• Evaluate landscaping needs and implement sustainable upgrades.
