Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Lead Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services in Salisbury, NC. The role oversees and supports associates, assigns tasks, and ensures safety and quality standards while guiding landscape maintenance and exterior operations.

You will lead equipment operation, coordinate budgets, and promote continuous improvement to sustain safe, well-maintained exterior environments that meet company goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include supervising and developing associates in facility or exterior services.
• Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscaping, and exterior maintenance practices.
• Ability to operate, inspect, and maintain heavy machinery safely; comply with OSHA and DOT requirements.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report; pre-hire MEC certification.
• Experience budgeting, purchasing, and managing supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support associates by assigning duties and monitoring performance.
• Train associates on policies and compliance with regulations such as OSHA and DOT.
• Manage landscape maintenance and seasonal exterior tasks; snow and ice removal.
• Operate and maintain heavy machinery and vehicles with safety checks and documentation.
• Coordinate equipment purchases, budget, and maintenance to optimize operations and reduce costs.
• Lead teamwork to meet priorities and uphold company values.
