Summit Reconstruction & Restoration is hiring Experienced Painters to perform exterior work in the Portland Metro/Vancouver area. Qualifications

• Must be able to pass E-Verify and eligible to work in the United States.
• Willing to climb and work from ladders, scaffold, planks & roofs.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen/criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures.
• Surface preparation including pressure washing and scraping paint.
• Priming materials and surfaces.
• Mix paint and prepare the right color or texture.
• Paint surfaces according to instructions using various tools.
• Apply varnish and other fine finishes.
• Drywall installation and finishing is a plus.

Experienced Painters

We are currently hiring Experienced Painters to do exterior work within the Portland Metro/Vancouver area working on commercial buildings, large apartment & condo complexes and private homes. Starting wage $20 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.
• Surface Preparation:
  • Pressure wash all surfaces to remove dirt, debris.
  • Scrape loose / peeling paint.
  • Reset popped nails.
• Priming all materials and surfaces.
• Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture.
• Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools.
• Apply varnish and other fine finishes.
• Drywall installation and finishing is a plus.

Required Skills & Experience

• Must have proven experience as a painter.
• Must be able to pass E-Verify and eligible to work in the United States.
• Positive attitude, team-player, and great attention to detail.
• Must be willing to climb and work from ladders, scaffold, planks & roofs when required.
